CentOS 8のXDMCPを有効にしてWinPCから接続する

先日、CentOS 8にxrdpをインストールしWinPCからRemote Desktop接続してみましたが、X Display Manager Control Protocol(XDMCP)を有効にすればWindows用X Server Clientから接続できました。

1. XDCMPの有効

[xdmcp]セクションにEnable=trueを追加します。

2. gdmサービスの再起動

3. Firewallの許可

デフォルトではポート177を使用するようです。サービスが登録されていました。

私はMobaXterm Proを愛用しているのでセッション登録だけで接続できました。
Free版もありますので試すにはいいと思います。
