Proxmox VE 7のリポジトリを調べてみました。

Proxmox VE Enterprise Repository(有償)

This is the default, stable, and recommended repository, available for all Proxmox VE subscription users. It contains the most stable packages and is suitable for production use
ちなみにサブスクリプションは€105/year & CPU socketからですので、約15,000円/年でEnterprise Repositoryが利用できます。

Proxmox VE No-Subscription Repository(無償)

This is the recommended repository for testing and non-production use. Its packages are not as heavily tested and validated. You don’t need a subscription key to access the pve-no-subscription repository.
テスト環境や非本番環境で推奨って…実際、どうなんでしょうか?
/etc/apt/sources.listを編集することでNo-Subscription Repositoryを利用できますが、Web GUIから変更できるようなので試してみました。
- リポジトリの初期設定
- 無償リポジトリの登録
- 有償リポジトリの無効
- アップデート・チェック
- アップグレード
初期設定ではエンタープライズ・リポジトリが有効になっていますが、サブスクリプション登録をしていないので警告が表示されていました。
無償リポジトリ(No-Subscription)を登録します。[追加]でリポジトリが選択できます。
有償リポジトリ(Enterprise Repository)を無効にします。pve-enterpriseを選択して[Disable]をクリックします。
アップデートの[再表示]で更新パッケージをチェックしてくれます。
分かりにくかったのですが、確か[再表示]だったような(^_^;
[>_アップグレード]をクリックして更新します。別ウィンドウが開いて[Y/n]が表示されるのでYで更新パッケージのインストールが開始されます。
実際はsshでログインしてaptコマンドでの更新が早そうですが。
しかし有償・無償のリポジトリが気になります。
2009年ぐらいからVMware ESXi 4を使用してきた私からしたら本番環境をProxmoxに変更するには躊躇するかな。
